Charles Singullier is an ordinary employee who, for once, allows himself a little originality: he buys a bowler hat at the Marolles flea market in Brussels. Once he's put the hat on his head, nothing will ever be the same for Charles again: he falls victim to hallucinations inspired by the work of Magritte. And there's no way of removing the hat unless he unravels the mystery of Magritte's paintings !
