A year before Magritte's death, the famous gallery owner Alexandre Iolas asked him if he had ever considered trying his hand at sculpture.

The painter confided that he had already thought about it.

A few weeks later, Magritte presented three detailed sketches of a sculpture he called Megalomania. It is a three-dimensional elaboration of his painting Megalomania, painted in 1962.

Size : 13 cm x 18 cm x 9,5 cm.

This figurine in resin was made and hand painted by highly skilled artisans. Each figurine is therefore unique and there may be slight variations from one model to another.
